Shehara is a clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping to reduce the stigma towards mental health and serving clients and their families from diverse backgrounds. Shehara has worked with clients across the age span from differing ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds in community mental health, partial hospital, outpatient, medical, and school settings with complex presentations. Shehara’s clinical approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral and integrative therapies, with the added incorporation of strengths-based, culturally responsive interventions. She collaborates with her clients to ensure that treatment is individualized to meet their unique needs and considers their mental, physical, and emotional health in a unified way.

In her free time, Shehara enjoys watching Disney movies, cooking, baking, painting, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
